Polițiștii locali vor înregistra intervențiile. Cât timp sunt păstrate imaginile surprinse de bodycam
Local police in Sector 1 will use body cameras to record interventions, following legislative changes. They have acquired 130 cameras for field agents, with recordings stored for six months unless used in judicial investigations. Citizens will be informed when interactions are recorded. The cameras have a 12-hour battery life and can transmit live footage to the dispatch center. This initiative aims to clarify disputed interventions and protect both citizens and police officers. Previously, local authorities faced penalties for using body cameras without legal frameworks, but now their use is mandatory during specific police activities.
