Poliţist de frontieră din Borş, cercetat pentru luare de mită, pus sub control judiciar
A border police officer is under investigation for bribery after allegedly demanding 300 euros from a foreign citizen to allow their passage through Romania. The officer, along with two others, reportedly stopped a foreign-registered vehicle and threatened the driver with a fine if the payment was not made. The money was discreetly handed over after initial refusal. The officer is now under judicial control for 60 days, prohibited from performing police duties and contacting other suspects. Investigations are ongoing, with additional officers also being investigated for complicity.
