Poliția spaniolă evacuează mii de migranți de pe plajele din Ceuta

Spanish police initiated an operation to evacuate thousands of migrants from the streets and beaches of Ceuta, using rubber bullets and batons amid clashes. Approximately 10,000 migrants remain in Ceuta after a significant influx from Morocco. The operation began early in the morning, involving riot police and the military. Initial applause from migrants turned to chaos as they rushed for limited accommodation spots. Authorities have set up temporary shelters for around 1,700 people, but NGOs report that many still sleep outdoors, with estimates of 4,000 migrants remaining on the streets. Most evacuees are adult men, while minors are housed separately. Authorities expect many migrants may return voluntarily to Morocco.
