The investigation continues to identify all individuals involved, leading to the arrest of two family members. The woman traveled to Pakistan in September 2025 under the pretense of family approval for her relationship. Upon arrival, her family confiscated her passport and forced her into marriage against her will. Her partner raised the alarm after being attacked in Barcelona. With the help of the Spanish Embassy, police located her and ensured her safe return to Spain, where she received specialized care. The arrested suspects are accused of human trafficking for forced marriage.
