Poliția marocană a dejucat un asalt în masă al migranților în Ceuta

Moroccan police thwarted an attempt by hundreds of migrants, mainly from Sub-Saharan Africa, to illegally enter Ceuta, Spain. This incident follows a significant migration alert after tens of thousands crossed the border in late July. On Saturday, police intercepted over 100 migrants and arrested 61 for inciting illegal immigration. The situation escalated after misinformation spread on social media claimed borders would open on August 15. The EU collaborated with digital platforms to remove these posts, while Morocco announced legal actions against those spreading rumors. Meanwhile, the border at Melilla remains calm but heavily guarded.
