Poliţia italiană anunţă confiscarea a 2,6 tone de cocaină în Oceanul Atlantic, cu o valoare de aproximativ 500 de milioane de euro

A high-speed vessel carrying over 2.6 tons of cocaine was intercepted off the coast of Portugal, valued at around 500 million euros. Four individuals were arrested, including two Spaniards, an Albanian, and a man from Gibraltar. The operation was coordinated by the Italian financial police and the Portuguese maritime police. Investigations revealed that organized crime groups use fast boats for drug trafficking, acting as 'maritime taxis' to retrieve illicit shipments discarded by mother ships from South America.
