The bridge over the Arieș River in Câmpeni will undergo a static load test on September 17, 2026, marking a significant milestone in its construction. This is the first bridge of its kind built in the Apuseni Mountains in the last century. Four 8x4 trucks, each weighing 40 tons, will be used for the test, totaling 160 tons. The test aims to assess the bridge's structural integrity under designed load conditions. While the test is crucial for determining the bridge's readiness for traffic, its opening will depend on the results and completion of necessary technical and administrative steps. The mayor has invited local residents to observe the test.
