Podul Giurgiu - Ruse 2. Două contestații admise de CNSC la contractul pentru studiul de fezabilitate
The National Council for Contestation Resolution (CNSC) accepted challenges from Activ Proiectare and Mega Muhendislik regarding the feasibility study contract for the second Giurgiu-Ruse bridge. The contract, awarded to EGIS ROMANIA S.A. for over 50 million lei, faced three challenges in total. Bulgaria has criticized Romania's slow progress on bridge construction, emphasizing the need for additional crossings over the Danube, particularly at Silistra. Discussions on building new bridges have been ongoing since 2014, with various proposals made over the years. The project is funded through the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF2).
