Podul Constanța se redeschide pe două benzi în octombrie

The construction works in the Podul Constanța area are expected to be completed around October 15. These interventions are part of Lot 4 of the tram infrastructure modernization project, which spans nearly eight kilometers and is set for completion in 2027. The contractor has increased work pace, including weekends, due to the heavy traffic in the area. Currently, traffic is restricted to one lane in each direction. The project includes the installation of tracks and systems to align them with the asphalt level, with further concrete and asphalt layers to follow. Additionally, a separate project for widening the roadway on Podul Constanța is planned, with feasibility studies to be contracted soon, aiming for construction to start in 2028.
