The Mayor of Bucharest, Ciprian Ciucu, announced the initiation of the feasibility study and design for the reconstruction and widening of the Constanța Bridge, along with the modernization of the surrounding intersection and the design of an intermodal hub. The tram line under the bridge is also being modernized, with completion expected in October instead of September as initially stated. The project aims to improve infrastructure in northern Bucharest and has an estimated value of over 2 million euros, with a service duration of 180 days. Ciucu emphasized the long-overdue nature of this work and expressed frustration over previous delays.
