Early Game Ventures has announced a €500,000 investment in Romanian startup Kyndred, which develops AI companions. The funds will enhance product development, expand the customer base, and grow the team. Kyndred aims to create a unique AI interaction experience, moving beyond traditional assistants to build relationships with users. The startup's first AI character, Maya, has already attracted over 150 paying customers shortly after launch. Founders Alex Băraru and Rareș Moșescu emphasize the importance of creating a familiar and engaging AI presence that assists users in their daily tasks.
