Bolojan has hinted he might accept a technocrat prime minister under certain PNL conditions. Some PNL leaders are curious if he would back Alexandru Nazare, but his response was vague. Bolojan's stance on PSD has softened, leading to speculation he may support a future prime ministerial candidate, provided it is not Sorin Grindeanu. PNL leadership will soon meet to define negotiation terms for the new prime minister.
