PNL considers appealing to the Constitutional Court if President Nicușor Dan does not call for early elections after the potential rejection of Mureșan's government. Alexandru Muraru emphasized that the president is obliged to dissolve Parliament under certain constitutional conditions. Mureșan currently has support from 170 parliamentarians but needs at least 233 votes for approval. Muraru stated that if the government fails to gain confidence, the situation could lead to a significant political deadlock. He also mentioned that PNL does not support the suspension of the president but seeks clarification from the Constitutional Court regarding the interpretation of the Constitution.
