Mircea Abrudean, the President of the Senate, announced two proposals from PNL to resolve the political crisis in Romania. The first option is to appoint Siegfried Mureșan as Prime Minister, forming a reformist government with USR and UDMR. The second option is to establish a genuine technocratic government with a limited mandate to continue reforms. Abrudean emphasized the need for a realistic budget and maintaining gains in reducing the deficit. He stated that the appointment of a Prime Minister should happen immediately to avoid prolonging the interim situation.
