The National Liberal Party (PNL) has decided to support the investiture of Luca Niculescu's government while officially entering opposition. PNL President Ilie Bolojan emphasized that this vote is a necessary and conditional measure to prevent a financial collapse of state institutions. He clarified that supporting the government does not mean joining it, but rather ensuring a functional government after a prolonged political crisis. All PNL officials will resign next week, and Bolojan will sign a limited agreement with Niculescu to maintain budget deficit targets. He acknowledged the political risks involved in this decision, stating it was made for the country's benefit.
