Ploieștiul devine capitala artei urbane: Peste 100 de artiști au transformat fosta Fabrică UZUC într-un muzeu contemporan deschis până pe 4 octombrie

The fifth edition of the urban art event Artown NOW has transformed the former UZUC industrial site in Ploiești into a creative space under the theme 'Grammar of Freedom'. Running until October 4, over 100 artists showcase their works, with free access to exhibitions, guided tours, performances, workshops, and concerts. The event began on September 18, attracting over 1,500 visitors in its first weekend. A key project is Continuous Studio 11, where artist Dumitru Gorzo works on-site, allowing visitors to engage with him directly. The festival features two thematic weekends focusing on community and freedom, with various activities planned, including inclusive workshops and cultural debates. Since its launch in 2022, Artown NOW has brought together over 400 artists, significantly enhancing Ploiești's contemporary art scene.
