Plățile din Pilonul II au crescut cu aproape 55%. Peste 42.000 de pensionari au încasat bani în primul semestru din 2026
Payments from the second pension pillar in Romania increased by nearly 55% in the first half of 2026, totaling 1.73 billion lei for over 42,000 beneficiaries. This rise is attributed to the maturation of the private pension system, with more participants reaching retirement age. The majority of payments were related to pension rights, while the number of beneficiaries also includes those who previously qualified but delayed their claims. The trend of increasing payments is expected to continue, with a shift towards more installment payments rather than lump sums. The total assets of the second pillar reached 237.42 billion lei, reflecting a significant growth compared to the previous year.
