Plăți întârziate, proiecte publice și private amânate – principalele efecte ale incertitudinii politice în construcții

A study by IBC Focus reveals that political and fiscal uncertainty significantly impacts the construction sector in Romania, leading to payment delays and project postponements. Over 63% of construction companies report payment issues as the main effect of this uncertainty, followed by budget cuts affecting half of the respondents. Additionally, many anticipate rising costs and pressures on profit margins. Despite these challenges, more than half of the companies expect revenue growth in 2026, driven by contracted projects. The study also highlights a concentration of construction activities around Bucharest, with a significant focus on public infrastructure projects. Overall, the findings indicate a mixed outlook, with a moderate sense of optimism among construction firms.
