CNAIR has confirmed that the TollRo platform will officially launch on October 1, 2026, after successful testing. The platform will handle electronic road tolls, rovinietă, and route tickets. Users can pay via a mobile app or online portal, with various payment options available. Existing rovinietă will remain valid until their expiration, and the current system will cease operations on September 30, 2026. TollRo will apply to vehicles over 3.5 tons, with fees based on distance, weight, and emissions class.
