The Romanian government has launched guvernanta.gov.ro, a platform aimed at increasing transparency by centralizing information about state-owned companies' leadership. Initiated by Deputy Prime Minister Oana Gheorghiu, it features data on 121 active companies and their management personnel. The platform provides access to over 1,350 public documents, including CVs and contracts for management positions. It reveals that more than 100 individuals hold multiple positions simultaneously, with various income brackets reported. This initiative is part of broader reforms to enhance governance and accountability in state enterprises, essential for Romania's economic standing internationally.
