The company recently opened a campus in Oradea, aiming to create 500 new jobs over the next five years. The acquisition is expected to enhance ebm-papst's market presence in the growing data center sector in the U.S. and streamline operations, potentially saving $160 million annually. The Romanian subsidiary has been operational for nearly a decade and focuses on energy-efficient fans for various applications. The company is currently recruiting to support its expansion plans.
