Wizz Air, holding a 51% market share in Romania, announced ambitious plans for the future during its Capital Markets Day in London. The airline aims to achieve revenues of €10 billion by the end of fiscal year F30, up from €5.7 billion in F26. By 2030, Wizz Air plans to operate a fleet of 335 Airbus neo aircraft and transport 127 million passengers, compared to 69.7 million in F26. The company targets a cost per seat-kilometer of 3 euro cents and a profit margin of 10%. CEO József Váradi emphasized the focus on enhancing productivity and sustainable profit margins. Wizz Air also reported strong liquidity of over €2.2 billion and has adjusted its capacity for the second half of the year due to fuel price volatility.
