Authorities in Sibiu County activated the Red Intervention Plan after several participants at an event in Avrig reported food poisoning symptoms. Nine rescue teams were dispatched to the scene, where 11 individuals were initially assessed for acute symptoms. The emergency response involved multiple medical units, including three SMURD teams and five ambulances. Additional teams were placed on alert to manage the situation effectively. The ongoing mission aims to determine if patients require urgent transport to hospitals.
