Planul lui Ciprian Ciucu pentru atragerea turiștilor străini. Ce pregătește Primăria Capitalei

Bucharest's mayor, Ciprian Ciucu, plans to establish a specialized organization to promote tourism, aiming for it to be operational by spring 2027. Discussions with tourism industry representatives and cultural institutions have begun to form the Destination Management Organization (DMO) for the city. This entity will focus on creating a unified tourism strategy, led by experienced professionals rather than direct municipal control. The DMO will manage a significant budget and will not organize events or take over museum responsibilities. The goal is to attract more visitors and enhance their stay in Bucharest, aligning tourism development with urban regeneration projects. Founding members will include tourism agencies and universities, with the organization requiring approval from the City Council before becoming operational.
