Planul de Mobilitate al Timișoarei: Încep măsurătorile de trafic și interviurile pe bază de chestionar pentru deplasările timișorenilor

The Timișoara City Hall is updating its Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUD) to improve infrastructure and mobility. Starting October 12, URBAN SCOPE SRL will collect data on traffic patterns and public transport usage, engaging with nearly 2,000 households to understand their travel habits. This information will help identify mobility issues and prioritize future investments. The new PMUD, developed by URBAN SCOPE SRL and ROM Transportation Engineering Ltd, is funded by the local budget and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), with a contract duration of 13 months. The study area includes Timișoara and 16 surrounding localities, reflecting changes in travel behavior since the last plan in 2015.
