Plantează-l o dată și ai lemne de foc ani la rând. Copacul “minune” care crește după fiecare tăiere • Newsweek România
There is a remarkable tree that can regenerate after being cut, providing a sustainable source of firewood. Fast-growing species like energy willow and hybrid poplar are ideal for creating a personal wood supply. These trees can be harvested repeatedly without needing replanting, as they sprout new shoots from their root systems. However, while energy willow grows quickly, its calorific value is lower than that of hardwoods, making it suitable for short-term burning. Hybrid poplars also grow rapidly but require ample space due to their strong root systems. For long-lasting firewood, traditional hardwoods like oak and beech are preferred, although they take longer to mature. A mixed planting strategy can ensure a continuous wood supply by combining fast and slow-growing species.
