Pîslaru, despre Legea salarizării: "CE nu stabileşte bugete pentru România, dar ne-a atras atenţia"

Interim Minister of Labor Dragoș Pîslaru discussed the implications of salary increases in the public sector, emphasizing the need for a balanced approach to avoid fiscal imbalances. He noted that the European Commission highlighted risks associated with exceeding budget limits, which could affect Romania's country rating and the fulfillment of commitments under the PNRR. Pîslaru stated that a proposed project will be presented to political leaders, aiming for an objective balance without reducing incomes. He acknowledged that meeting all union demands would exceed the budget limit, but assured that two-thirds of public employees would see salary increases.
