Romania is set to submit its fifth payment request under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), according to Minister Dragoș Pîslaru. The request includes 75 targets and milestones, with 21 related to reforms and 54 to investments, totaling €2.84 billion. Following a review, the total grant allocation remains €13.57 billion, with an expected absorption rate of 78% after this request. Pîslaru highlighted the significant increase in absorption since the current government took office, rising from 47.19% to 78%. After the fifth request, only one more payment request will remain, totaling €2.58 billion in grants.
