Burnham believes Axel, a mixed poodle, would not get along with Larry, who has lived at the residence for 15 years. Larry, the Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office, has been a prominent figure through multiple prime ministers and remains active despite his age. Burnham humorously referred to Axel as 'Famous Axel' and confirmed the dog will stay in Greater Manchester.
