Pisica cu 29 de degete a intrat în Cartea Recordurilor

A Maine Coon cat named Erebus Anomaly has set a new world record with 29 toes, the highest ever recorded for a feline. This unusual trait is due to polydactyly, a genetic anomaly. Erebus surpassed the previous record of 28 toes held by a Canadian cat named Jake since 2002. The cat's owners noticed the potential for a record from birth, and despite health challenges, Erebus recovered and had its record validated by Guinness World Records. Another cat, Toby, had matched the previous record earlier this year, showcasing the uniqueness of polydactyl cats.
