Pirații somalezi au preluat controlul unui petrolier în largul coastelor Yemenului

Armed pirates have seized control of a tanker off the coast of Yemen, heading towards Somalia, indicating a resurgence in Somali piracy. The SEAMULL tanker was hijacked 136 nautical miles from Al-Mukalla, prompting warnings for vessels in the area. Despite a decline in piracy since 2011 due to international efforts, incidents have increased again this year, with at least five ships currently held by pirates. Somalia remains in turmoil since 1991, with ongoing conflicts affecting maritime security.
