Zdeněk Chovanec, a promising young driver in FIA Formula 3, passed away at the age of 21, with the cause of death currently undisclosed. Born in Venezuela, he moved to Prague and later settled in Portugal, where he began his motorsport career in karting. Chovanec competed in various championships, including Formula 4 and was set to race in the GT World Challenge Europe. His funeral is scheduled for July 23, 2026.
