A Romanian pilot successfully intercepted a second drone that illegally entered Romanian airspace, just a day after downing the first one. Both missions were conducted using the same F-16 aircraft and with the same colleague. The second drone was eliminated over a sparsely populated area near the Ukrainian border. The identity of the pilot remains undisclosed, but military officials praised their performance, highlighting their youth and skill. General Gheorghiță Vlad expressed a desire to honor the pilot for their actions.
