Pilot ucrainean oprit de NATO la granița Poloniei

Poland's Deputy Minister Cezary Tomczyk revealed that a Russian Kh-101 drone was tracked by a Ukrainian pilot but had to turn back due to NATO protocols. The pilot was forced to abandon the interception mission just before reaching the Polish border, as Ukrainian aircraft are not authorized to engage in combat operations in NATO airspace. Tomczyk emphasized the need for political and legal decisions for foreign military aircraft to conduct direct tracking over Poland. He also noted that Poland is enhancing its air defense system and that NATO's 'Eastern Sentry' initiative would respond swiftly if the drone posed a threat. NATO confirmed the incident and activated air defenses in response to the Russian missile incursion.
