Pictura „Visare”, expusă la New York înaintea finalei Campionatului Mondial de Fotbal, la "Sighişoara Medievală"

Rareş Kerekes's painting 'Visare' is the only artwork from Romania and Eastern Europe exhibited at Mriya Gallery in New York, coinciding with the 2026 World Cup. The piece features a female figure surrounded by poppies against the backdrop of Transylvanian hills. Kerekes expressed his surprise and joy at being selected among 30 artists for this prestigious exhibition, emphasizing the theme of dreaming. He aims to promote Transylvania through his art, and despite Romania's absence from the World Cup, he feels represented through his work.
