Positive contributions came from construction and public administration, but negative impacts were noted in wholesale trade, industry, and real estate. The seasonally adjusted GDP for Q2 2026 was estimated at 521.1 billion lei, reflecting ongoing economic challenges. The decline in household consumption and industrial activity were key factors in the GDP drop.
