In Q2 2026, Romania's GDP decreased by 0.2% compared to Q2 2025, with a 1.9% decline in seasonally adjusted terms. For the first half of 2026, GDP fell by 0.6% in raw terms and 1.6% seasonally adjusted. The estimated GDP for Q2 2026 was 501,069.2 million lei, while for the first semester it was 907,159.4 million lei. Adjustments to previous estimates showed slight changes in various sectors, with agriculture and construction showing positive growth. The net taxes on products decreased by 0.9 percentage points in the revised estimates.
