The National Agency for Employment (ANOFM) has authorized the first agencies for placing foreign citizens, operating exclusively online through the WorkinRomania.gov.ro platform. This digital tool, launched on August 6, 2026, aims to streamline administrative procedures for foreign workers in Romania. Employers can register online, agencies can request authorization, and employers can gain authorized status. The platform centralizes necessary documents and processes, ensuring transparency by automatically listing authorized agencies and employers in accessible registers.
