In Q2 2026, new registrations of passenger vehicles increased only for mopeds and motorcycles, while buses and cars saw declines. Overall, passenger vehicle registrations dropped by 7.6% compared to Q2 2025. However, new car registrations rose by 20.7%. Electric buses and minibuses made up 6.1% of the total stock. For freight vehicles, registrations increased for tractors but decreased for trucks and trailers. Compared to Q1 2026, there was a rise in new registrations for both passenger and freight vehicles. By the end of Q2 2026, 67.1% of registered vehicles complied with Euro 4, 5, or 6 standards, with Euro 4 being predominant among cars.
