Phantom Twist, drona care devine aproape invizibilă în zbor

Engineers at Northwestern University have developed a drone called 'Phantom Twist' that becomes nearly invisible during flight by utilizing rapid movement effects. Unlike traditional drones, it features a single motor and propeller, rotating in opposite directions to minimize visibility. The design, optimized through AI analysis of 20,000 configurations, is reportedly ten times harder to detect than conventional drones. This technology could be beneficial for wildlife observation and environmental monitoring, although the drone is not completely undetectable due to noise and visible components. Future versions may incorporate more transparent materials and quieter propulsion systems.
