The company owes Litasco 225.5 million euros, and its debts to suppliers are nearing one billion lei. The Prahova Tribunal has approved the insolvency request, setting deadlines for creditor claims and the verification of debts. The refinery's operations were halted due to sanctions affecting Russian companies, making it unable to resume normal activities and pay its debts. Litasco, the majority shareholder, is seeking repayment of loans provided to sustain the refinery's operations.
