Creditors have until September 9, 2026, to submit claims, and a preliminary creditors' table must be prepared by September 29, 2026. The company aims to protect jobs and maintain operations despite sanctions. The refinery has faced production challenges, significantly impacting the petroleum market in Romania. OMV Petrom has assured consumers of continued supply amid maintenance work at its facilities.
