Petrișor Peiu, despre criza energetică: „Consumatorii au primit deja notificări cu scumpiri de până la 20%”
Petrișor Peiu, leader of AUR senators, warns that energy system issues may increase consumer prices in the coming months. He cites rising production costs, the absence of 1,400 MW from Cernavodă, and delays in Mintia and Iernut projects. He highlights a nearly 6% increase in energy production prices for August and anticipates consumer price hikes between 13% and 20% due to the summer energy crisis. The Cernavodă reactors remain offline, contributing to the energy shortfall. Additionally, the Mintia gas plant will be delayed by at least nine months, and there has been no progress on the Iernut plant, which is eight years behind schedule.
