Petrișor Peiu: Datoria publică, pericol uriaș în buget

Petrișor Peiu, leader of AUR senators, warns about Romania's rising public debt, which reached 1.194 trillion lei, or 61.4% of GDP, in the first five months of the year. He highlights a 57 billion lei increase, equating to 1.2% of GDP, and emphasizes the danger posed by high interest rates on this debt, surpassing 3% of GDP. Peiu criticizes the government's optimistic narrative, asserting that the financial situation is much worse and blaming PSD, PNL, USR, and UDMR for the ongoing crisis.
