Petrișor Peiu atrage atenția că România a pierdut 12 locuri în clasamentul global al competitivității economiei

Romania has dropped 12 places in the IMD World Competitiveness Ranking 2026, now ranking 61st out of 70 countries. Senator Petrișor Peiu attributes this decline to the governments of Marcel Ciolacu and Ilie Bolojan. Romania's position is lower than several Central and Eastern European economies, with Poland at 41st, Hungary at 51st, and Bulgaria at 56th. The ranking evaluates economic performance, government efficiency, business environment, and infrastructure, using 172 statistical indicators and 92 survey criteria. The data reflects perceptions from around 6,900 executives surveyed between February and April 2026.
