Petrișor Peiu, atac dur după operațiunea cu barjele de pe Dunăre: „Este o improvizație. Problema era cunoscută de 40 de ani”
Petrișor Peiu, leader of AUR senators, criticized the temporary measures taken to address low water levels in the Danube affecting Cernavodă Reactor 2. He emphasized that the issue has been known since the 1980s and that Romania lacks sufficient energy capacity to handle potential outages. Peiu pointed out that the government has failed to invest in energy infrastructure, leading to the current crisis. He warned that winter months could exacerbate energy demands, questioning how the country will meet increased consumption. Peiu also criticized the establishment of an emergency energy committee, arguing that it cannot replace necessary investments.
