Petrișor Peiu, acuzații grave în mega-contractul SAFE
The SAFE armament program in Romania has been criticized for lacking transparency and bypassing normal procurement procedures. Economist Petrișor Peiu highlighted that a contract worth nearly 5.6 billion euros was signed without a public tender, with all major political parties involved. He expressed skepticism about claims that a significant portion of production would occur locally. Peiu also noted that the urgency in signing the contract aimed to avoid common procurement processes with other states. If AUR were to govern, he stated that they would seek to declassify key contract details immediately.
