A new petition has been launched to ban electric scooters on pedestrian paths in Sector 3 of Bucharest, citing safety concerns. Residents claim that IOR Park has become dangerous due to high-speed scooters and reckless behavior. The petition, initiated by a local resident, aims to restore the park's safety for families and children. It calls for the prohibition of scooters in the park, reconfiguration of bike paths near playgrounds, and increased police presence to enforce safety regulations. So far, it has gathered 255 signatures out of 300 needed.
