Peter Magyar va crește taxele pentru marile averi pentru a reduce impozitele ungurilor cu venituri mici
The Hungarian government has introduced a new wealth tax and increased corporate tax rates to reduce the budget deficit and support low-income citizens. Prime Minister Peter Magyar announced these measures, including a "billionaire tax" targeting individuals with assets over 2.75 million euros. The corporate tax rate will rise from 9% to 11% for companies earning over 496 million euros. These changes aim to lower the deficit to 4.9% of GDP by 2027, while also increasing taxes on tobacco, alcohol, and advertising. Additionally, the minimum pension will rise significantly by 2027, benefiting many citizens.
