Péter Magyar: Ungaria refuză asocierea la Grupul celor 8 din Carpați

Despite being invited, Hungary declined to participate without providing specific reasons. The initiative aims to enhance cooperation among eight countries in the Carpathian region, including Ukraine, Romania, and Poland. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha expressed surprise at Hungary's decision and emphasized the initiative's potential benefits for regional development. He also criticized Magyar's statements regarding energy cooperation, suggesting they undermine pragmatic relations between Ukrainian and Hungarian energy companies. Ukraine remains open to developing bilateral relations with Hungary.
